UGGGGG! I actually made a submission for madness day! I really did! i tried to submit it weeks ago and got unscouted for it! so i completely remade it and was about to submit it and it said unscouted limit exceeded!!! and the file was only like 15k!!!

I havent posted anything in a little bit, but i have been working really hard to improve my drawing. a few days ago i decided to make a sketchbook to help me have good line quality and things like that. it had a little accident :-( but i uploaded the sketches that i managed to salvage at least most of the way! check them out in my art tab!

man. making a short is a lot of work. however just recently i decided that this thing really wont work out if i cant draw people. therefore i have decided to take a little detour from my short and learn how to draw people. my short is still coming but might not be out for a while.

I got one!!!!

I got myself a tablet!!! they are much harder to use then i had thought but i love it already! it is so much fun to use. I am soooo excited!

I LOVE custom brushes! i just downloaded a small set of like five custom brushes off of the internet and got inspired to make my own. my current pictures are both made using entirely custom brushes. except for the text. the text i make in illustrator.

working on my first short movie! yay! i have got two large bulletin boards full of story boards and a whole bunch more sitting on my table because i ran out of board. its a lot more work than i thought.

work is a killer. Just got my job as an intern at silicon solar on monday. It is my first official job and I am really excited. but the only thing is, it is hard! I work five hours a day with an hour bus ride each way. Ugg. I am mostly scanning documents. I have gotten through about one mid sized packing box, about 2.5' by 12" by 10". I then take the scanned documents, convert them to pdf files and organize and upload them to an online filing system. going to see if they let me get a job with engineering so i can cad. that would be sweet.

I still haven't been scouted yet... should I be worried? Is my work good enough? Should I wait longer? Am totally confused? the answer to at least the last question is yes. I hope I get scouted soon.

just a little bit about myself. I really like 3d platforms and CAD and I would like to become either a professional animator or an engineer. at this point however i am trying to figure out 2d drawing as well so I can become a better artist. I started with GIMP but really hated the user interface. My older brother noticed this and gave me a copy of photoshop. Yay! so now I am trying that out.
